A simple summary

Unline is a daily notebook. You can write without an account, or sign in to keep a separate notebook synchronized with our cloud service. We process the information needed to deliver these features and do not sell your notebook content.

What information we handle

Your notebook

Pages, entries, progress updates, completion markers, and related history you choose to create. This information is used to display, save, and synchronize your notebook.

Optional account information

When you choose Sign in with Apple or Google, our authentication service receives identifiers required for sign-in and may receive your email address or name depending on your provider and your choices.

Support and early-access messages

If you email us for support or to request Android early access, we receive the message and the contact information you choose to provide. We use it to respond and, if you are invited, to add the Google Play account email you provide to the closed-testing list. Participation is optional, and a request does not automatically enroll you in testing.

Technical data

Our cloud and identity service providers may process network and technical logs needed for reliability, security, and troubleshooting. Hosting our website may also involve routine request logs.

Where your notebook lives

As a guest: Your notebook is stored locally on your device, not synchronized with a signed-in account. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage may remove this data.

When signed in: Your notebook is cached locally for offline access and synchronized to Supabase cloud storage when a connection is available. Guest notebooks and signed-in notebooks are kept separate.

Unline uses account-based database permissions to limit who can access synced notes. Cloud sync is not described as end-to-end encrypted.

Services we use

Unline relies on Apple and Google for optional sign-in, and Supabase for authentication and cloud notebook storage. Their privacy terms apply to processing within their services. When you join Android closed testing, Google Play also processes your Google account information to manage access to the test.

Our website loads the Outfit typeface through Google Fonts, so visitors' browsers may connect to Google to retrieve the font. The pages themselves do not include an advertising tracker.

Any future analytics or crash-reporting features must be documented here and accurately reflected in our app store privacy disclosures before release.

Your choices & deletion

Signing out does not delete your account. You can request permanent deletion in the app from the Account screen or on our account-deletion page.

Completed account deletion removes your Unline account and associated signed-in notebook data from our active application systems. Guest notes stored separately on your device are not automatically erased by remote account deletion.

You can ask us at hello@unline.page to remove your Android invitation request from our working list. Support and invitation emails may remain in the support inbox for as long as reasonably needed to handle your request and related obligations.

Infrastructure providers may retain limited technical logs or backups for security, operational, or legal reasons, subject to their own retention practices. Contact us for specific deletion questions.

Security

We use authentication and account-based access controls to protect synced data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Avoid sharing sign-in codes or passwords with support.

Children's privacy

Unline is a general-purpose notebook and is not directed toward children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact support.

Contact & updates
